Macrocrystalline (Mono)Tungsten Carbide Powder (MTC)
It is mainly used as hard phases in PDC matrix powder, PTA welding and spraying powder, tubular welding rod (wire), as well as the raw materials to make cemented carbide products. It is widely used as the surface wear improving and prereinforcement to the work pieces in the industries of mining, oil, metallurgical, construction machinery, agriculture machinery and steel.etc.
Base Material
Cast Tungsten Carbide (CTC):
Applications:
Used in manufacturing diamond drill bit matrix materials, Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) hardfacing materials, thermal spray powders, and wear-resistant carbide welding electrodes/wires. Widely applied for pre-reinforcement or wear repair of abrasion-prone surfaces in mining, oil & gas drilling, metallurgy, construction machinery, and steel industries.
Technical Features:
- High melting point (2,525°C).
- Ultra-high hardness (HV0.1 2200).
Spherical Cast Tungsten Carbide:(SCTC)
Applications:
Used in diamond drill bit matrix materials, PTA hardfacing materials, thermal spray powders, and wear-resistant carbide welding electrodes/wires. Extensively applied in oil drill bits, PDC drill bits, and other infiltration-coated, spray-welded, or hardfaced products for surface wear resistance enhancement.
Technical Features:
- High melting point (2,525°C).
- Extreme hardness (HV0.1 2700).
- Excellent flowability for uniform deposition.
