Application and Development of Hard Surface Technology

Hard surface technology (thermal spraying, surfacing, spray welding, etc.) and hard surface materials (tungsten based, chromium based, ceramics, etc.) have been widely used in industries such as steel, aviation, aerospace, automotive, general machinery, energy, petrochemicals, textiles, and papermaking. The main rotor shaft of helicopters conducting military operations in desert areas is susceptible to sand erosion. The use of HVOF and explosive spraying WC12Co can improve its wear resistance. HVOF spraying Al SiC coating on magnesium alloy substrate for aviation can improve wear resistance.

2 Steel and Petroleum Industries
The steel industry is an important field for thermal spraying applications. The use of thermal spray coating on components such as blast furnace tuyere, high-temperature annealing furnace rollers, hot roll plate conveying rollers, support rollers, straightening rollers, galvanized lifting rollers, sinking rollers, etc. can greatly improve work efficiency, reduce costs, improve product quality, and achieve significant benefits.
